It's not truly a gimmick though, as Bambi really is an extreme sports participant.  Background: Bambi Bennett was always a fearless girl, even as a child. Once she strapped on her first pair of roller skates, she became addicted to thrill-seeking. This brought her into the world of extreme sports as an adult. She tried it all and found that she was good at it. Her attitude and willingness to try anything has earned her something of a fan following.  Several years ago, Bambi sustained a bad injury during a dangerous snow boarding stunt. The doctors told her that her extreme sports career was over. Once she rehabed her injury, Bambi shocked everyone by entering wrestling school. Just like in all her physical pursuits, Bambi has succeeded. She's a tremendous wrestler who shows a genuine love for the sport.  Of course, she eventually began going back into extreme sports, her first love. She continues to do both without any problem. At least so far.
