Helen is a psychotic individual who enjoys nothing more than hurting her opponents, even if it causes a disqualification. But it's obvious she's having fun doing it. She'll often break out in a fit of laughter after dealing a particularly vicious attack to her opponent. It's a wonder she's over as a babyface at all.
Background:
Karen Wayworth spent a lot of time in Killer Kowalski's training school. She has learned all the fundamentals and intricacies of wrestling, but prefers to brawl rather than utilize a lot of holds. Immediately after her schooling ended, she began working several east-coast indie promotions, using her real name. Her skill was obvious, but she lacked a convincing gimmick. Hell, she lacked any sort of gimmick at all.

Upon visiting her former teacher, he advised her to work on character development because she'd never get over otherwise. They discussed ideas for gimmicks and within a couple hours of doing so, the Helen Bakk gimmick was born.

She approached the bookers about her new character and they agreed to write it into an angle. As the story went, Karen was sick of being held down so one day in the middle of a match, she just snapped and went crazy. This, of course, unlocked her true potential and sent her into the mid card as opposed to curtain jerking.

The character caught on like wildfire and Karen was suddenly being sought after by practically every promotion within driving distance of her home. She eagerly accepted a heavy schedule, which gave her a great deal of experience, working with the likes of Violet Flame, Amanda Storm and the legendary Leilani Kai.

Unfortunately, Karen injured her ankle after an atomic drop gone awry. This put her out of action for several months, but now she has healed and is ready to resume her career.
